About Sheena Kumar, MD

Dr. Kumar is originally from the LA area where she began her academic career at USC. She earned her MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. After completing her residency, she returned to the West Coast in order to continue her pursuit in Medicine. She is board certified in Family Medicine and has been in practice in the Bay Area since 2006. She chose primary care because she has always enjoyed helping others. Primary care gives her an opportunity to help the community she works in and better understand their needs. She lives in San Francisco with her husband, daughter and their sweet Maltipoo, “Oreo”. Dr. Kumar takes pride in really taking the time out to know her patients and giving them the care they deserve.
